This Privacy Policy describes how PC News, s. r. o. ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application Hey, US Citizen! ("the App").
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, why it is collected, and how it is used. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. Data collected through the App is used solely to operate the App, serve relevant ads, and improve your experience.

We do not directly collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. However, certain data is collected automatically through the third-party services integrated into the App:
- Usage data — screens visited, session duration, events triggered, and app crashes (via Firebase Analytics)
- Device information — device type, operating system version, language, and approximate location (country/region)
- Advertising identifiers — your device's advertising ID (e.g. GAID on Android), used by Google AdMob to serve ads
- Purchase records — transaction identifiers for in-app purchases, processed through Google Play Billing

How We Use Your Data
Data collected through the App and its integrated services is used for the following purposes:
- To operate and maintain the App and fix bugs
- To understand how users interact with the App and improve features
- To display advertisements and measure their performance

Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services that may collect data independently under their own privacy policies:
Google Firebase Analytics
Used to collect anonymised usage statistics, crash reports, and app performance data.
Google AdMob
Used to display in-app advertisements. May collect advertising identifiers and interaction data.
Google Play Billing
Used to process in-app purchases. Payment and transaction data is handled by Google, not by us directly.

Advertising
The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and other signals to show you personalised ads based on your interests.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation
Opting out does not remove ads from the App — it means the ads you see will be less relevant to your interests.

In-App Purchases
The App offers optional in-app purchases processed through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment details — all transactions are handled securely by Google.
We receive only a transaction confirmation and a purchase token to verify that a purchase was completed. No payment card information is ever transmitted to us.

Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

Data Retention
Analytics data collected via Firebase is retained according to Google's own retention settings, which you can review in the Firebase documentation. We do not store personal data on our own servers beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the App.
Purchase records may be retained for as long as required to handle disputes or comply with legal obligations.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:
- The right to access data held about you
- The right to request deletion of your data
- The right to object to processing or request restriction
- The right to data portability
